Our choice of this hotel was primarily driven by its ideal location for exploring the Creole Nature Trail. Beyond that, the hotel itself was commendable: clean, featuring spacious rooms, and the convenience of on-site coin laundry. However, the one significant disappointment was the service, or rather, the stark lack of enthusiasm from the night staff. Our check-in was notably monotone and almost robotic. This lack of engagement became particularly frustrating when I requested extra cups for our room, after housekeeping neglected to replace them. The response was a flat "we don't know where those supplies are," followed by a suggestion to use the small waffle batter cups from the morning service. With four decades in the hotel and service industry, I find it incredibly difficult to accept that staff wouldn't know or have access to basic housekeeping supplies, or even their readily available supply carts. It was evident from their demeanor and words that they simply didn't want to be bothered and were unwilling to assist.

I had such a wonderful stay and wanted to highlight the amazing customer service provided by Kristen and Tracey. From the moment I checked in, they both went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their warm smiles, friendly attitude, and genuine care made all the difference in my stay. Both ladies are a true example of what hospitality should be kind, helpful, and dedicated to making every guest feel at home. Their teamwork and positive energy set the tone for the entire hotel experience. Because of Kristen and Tracey, I will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to others. Thank you both for making my stay such a memorable one!

This place was pretty good. We didn’t experience anything really negative other than a little bit of wear. And, the room had no musty smells and the reception person was nice. I can’t say the same for the breakfast. It wasn’t my favorite at all. Yet, I’d stay here again.

The location is right on the Hwy but the rooms were quiet. The hotel was clean and well kept. There is a Waffle House and Cracker Barrel across the street. There is a casino and gas station next to the hotel. The TV in the room is very small by today’s standards, probably a 32”.

Room did not have all of the amenities we are used to from this chain but the room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was more than we are used to from this chain. Good job on that!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Great experience! Front desk is always extremely pleasant. Rooms are clean. 3rd floor is under renovations. My room was out dated, but my mattress was comfortable and my room was quiet, clean and sanitized. I stay at this property every 2 to 3 months for business.

Phenomenal stay. 10/10 definitely recommend! Full course breakfast! Very clean & peaceful property. Comfortable beds. Great location. Affordable rates. Tracy at the front desk & Cindy in the breakfast area were very friendly & professional. Cindy kept everything fresh & well stocked.
